| Let it Ride Poker is an excellent
poker game for the experienced player and is just as entertaining
to the novice because it is such an easy game to learn. This game
differs from most poker games in that you are playing against the
dealer and not the other players. The object of the game is to make
a winning hand of 10's or better from the three cards you are dealt,
plus the two cards called 'community cards'. Each player must place
three bets prior to the deal. Two of these bets are on the possible
hand that the player is going for, and the last on is a bet placed
on the dealer and there is no option of withdrawing this last bet.
Once this is done, the dealer deals out three cards face down to each
player, plus two cards face down are placed in front of the dealer.
Play begins with the player to the left of the dealer who has the
option of taking back bet number 1 or he can choose to 'Let it Ride'
This choice is given to each of the players in turn and then the
dealer turns over the first community card revealing the players
fourth card that he must make the best possible hand from. At this
time each player in turn will decide whether to take down bet number
two, or to 'Let it Ride'. Once this has gone around to each player,
the dealer reveals the second community card and if this last card
results in a player having a hand of 10's or better, he is paid
out according to the Payout Table.
Players also have the option of placing a side bet for each of
the hands in the amount of $1.00 and if he produces a winning hand
at the end of the game, he is paid for the bonus bet according to
the Bonus Payout Table. This type of bet is frequently referred
to as a sucker bet because the odds are so highly in favor of the
casino.

the bonus bet pays out. As you can see the house does have a bigger
advantage than in other poker games, but the option of being able
to take back a bet or two, makes the game much more interesting
and challenging as well.
